I dont see the point of fitting something to your car that makes it look a pile of poo to stop a few stone chips Paintshield is a better option surely

Oddly I have noticed a ton of these on VAG products recently... as to for the 500 I doubt it, Italians wouldn't consider it fashionable I don't consider it fashioable. I'd rather have the world's largest stone chip on the bonnet than drive around with something that looks like a bin bag stuck to my front end.

an appropriate term - bonnet bra. Fit one of those and you'll look a complete t1t.

I used to hate them but sort of grown to them. They do look crap on some cars. Would be a good thing to have when going on Motorway journeys

I'd say you're more likely to pick up a stone chip on am rural A or B road than a motorway

I'm not sure about these. They just make a car that looks great look plain nasty and cheap for the benefit of the next owner not you.

I'd say you're more likely to pick up a stone chip on am rural A or B road than a motorway mmmmm my only stone chip is from motorway.....cars travelling at speed in front flick em up...... 95% of my driving is done on country roads.....never got one there........yet..... My biggest annoyance on country roads is bugs.....bra would be good to keep them from car front. But i would have to have a paper bag for my head too

note to self.... do not attempt to contribute to any discussion on engine modification and tuning stuff, remember you know nothing about them.
