And I thought the konis resolved any issues with odd sounds after fitting lowering springs?

It's good I didn't rush into getting them

Craig, that's a good result from Research - nice one.  :thumb:
Do you get the impression that Koni will be doing a product recall for the FSD's ?
Those of you who had your FSD's supplied and fitted by Abarth dealerships shouldn't have a problem getting the knocking
shockers replaced, but those of us who (unfortunately as it's turned out) bought our sets through the Abarthisti Shop and had
them fitted independently could well be faced with further expense getting it sorted.  >:(
I believe that, as it's becoming apparent that Koni have produced a significant number of duds, they should assist  with the costs  of
refitting, as well as providing replacements which are fit for purpose free of charge (and that includes postage). There are several people
on the Forum who have already spent a good deal of time and money trying to cure their knocking issue - surely they should be
re-imbursed if the product is now known to be faulty.

Many thanks for the update.  Much appreciated.

I'm now wondering what my next step should be here (not dealer supplied or fitted).  I've not yet changed the shocks over to the OEM ones that I bought recently but it's sounding very much like the Konis are the problem.

So, already £40 down.  Changing the rear shocks over will cost about £30 and of course another £30 to put any new Konis on.  Will Koni be expecting me to send back the faulty shocks at my own expense?  If the product is faulty, and they obviously accept they have been sending out duds, then surely they should be paying my costs?

My rear Koni's are coming off next Tuesday. I have spoken to Koni UK about this issue. The Guy I have been dealing with is called Anthony. Very helpful. if you are in the Southern part of the UK you can send them back free of charge via a Camberley Auto Factors as they are all part of the same company. if you are elsewhere in the country it may be worth giving him a call on 01252 543900 . I spoke to him yesterday, he was in the process of ringing  Koni in Holland to see what their position is on labour charges incurred. Hope this helps.

I'd contact the Abarthisti Shop, or their supplier, Alfashop Norwich, and ask them if the sets that they supply now
have the revised rear shocks.
IMO Konis are definitely a marked improvement over the OEM's and are well worth having, but you don't want
the hassle of all this knocking after 500 miles or so which seems to be when most of them start
misbehaving.  :-\

Here's hoping that's the final cure.  :)
Please let us know if the dealer has any info as to what the problem with the Konis is - thanks.  :thumb:
