Obvious thing to say I know but don't forget to consider whether it displays in Bar or Lbs/[]" I'm still trying to understand my gauge.

I've configured my digital boost gauge to not show negative and to go to a max of 2.0 bar.

It never seems to go above 1.4 bar, don't know if that's right or not but there ya go :)

Most are in 'bar' and seein as I kinda know what both standard and SS cars make bar wise Ill stick with what I know (sorta), think gauge that registers 3bar is bit over kill tho :D tryin to find ones that max at 2bar that way the needle move further round the dial there-by looking more impressive lol

Think White face might be abit too chavy too?!?

Ive ordered a gauge and a universal bracket which comes with a double-sided sticky pad so hopefully no drilling or glue needed...

Once its arrived Ill get in touch with you (Hippo) and take you up on that offer about helping me fit it :thumb: the gauge comes with fitting kit and is mechincal and (Hopefully) wont need anything else to get up and running. Not too bothered about not having the light working, but at least I can get it wired up by an auto-elecy at a later date if needed.

Its a 60mm Greddy/Trust Mechincal boost gauge, it was abit more than most of the others on eGay but it has a really nice clear face with not too higher boost max so it should show quite a nice travel on the needle. Some on there where just plain nasty and cheap looking lol

It comes with all the fitting kit required (hopefully) and just needed a bracket/pod which I bought sepratly, might not be everybodies cupa tea

...but Im hoping to secure it so I dont damage the dash and can be removed easily if needs be, also it'll be interesting to see how a aftermarket gauage that takes a vacume reading compares to the factory electronic item.

Oh if you search 'mechanical boost gauge' on eGay your see what selection I had to choose from...

How would I know my boost by looking at the road?

lol :D

Well its always good to know whats going on under the bonnet, as you know TMC alters the signal to the factory gauge but like I mentioned in the 'remap' thread I dont know if a ecu flash/remap changes the signal too

So taking a better reading from vacume to a fresh gauge cant do any harm imo that is.

You could say the samething about Hippos GTTuning gauge, whichis in psi but its different and interesting, and we all did the samething would it be boring...
