Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get an ODB2 adapter to link up to the Torque app, running Android. Does anyone have any recommendations? Preferably something available on eBay so I can get it to Sydney result...

    Ok, so I'm completely new to this - what are the factors in the large price variances of these adapters? Eg the high end seems to be 150+ while the low end like an ELM327 are on eBay for $15. Is it features, quality, accuracy? As someone who wants to get a few readings for a track day would I be able to tell the difference? Very confused..

    Data rates, connectivity etc are the main differences. Then support after that.

    A lot of people are happy with the kiwi ones.

    I bought my elm327 off ebay for 8 quid Bluetooth etc and is faultless.

    yep second the elm 327 mini, used loads of times with the torque app all good.

    As above. I used an Elm one for logging intake temps and coolant temps on the girlfriends. Worked a treat.
