If you are replacing rear pads, you will need the rewind tool to move the pistons back.
Dont turn it the wrong way or you will end up with the pistons on the floor :D

Look on Youtube for videos of changing pads.
get a rewind tool from ebay.
It's quite easy really and certainly a job you can do yourself.
the first one you do will take 20 minutes of so but after a few times, you can do all 4 in 20 minutes.
Allow plenty of time the first time you do it.
A500 + TMC + BMC + Ferodo DS2500 + Motul RBF600 + KW V1 + OMP & Strut Braces - rear seats = esseesse+, + Change.

We've just changed the rear pads and made our own rewind tool by grinding out and filing a 21mm socket to suit.  It worked a treat.  I'm not sure whereabouts you are but if you're not far from Stafford you're welcome to borrow it and we can explain how to change the pads.

to save me starting a new thread...

Do the rear pistons wind back clockwise or anti clockwise!??!!

My guessing the fronts can just be pushed back in as normal!?!?

Thanks!

they go different ways on each side of the car, anti clockwise on nearside, clockwise on offside, had serious grief learning this the hard way :thumb:

and, the little cut outs in piston have to end up at 3 o'clock and 9 'clock or they won't clear the bobble on the pad, more grief if you don't know this ;D
