Hi. As title. Changed the bulb and it works on and off but when in the center it doesn't come on automatically so i moved the copper so it was fully connected and now it goes on and off fully when i unlock and lock the car but when the lights dulls out it doesn't completley shut down, there is still a faint light there. Any ideas as it's bugging me?? Thanks.

Sounds faulty, it should go out completley or it will slowly drain the battery.
Best get it checked

Its not an LED one is it ? these can be a pain for flickering when they should be switched off
had it before on previous cars

yep! replaced it with a brighter led one, just cause i wanted to. Is that what you think is causing it to stay on faintly? It's the same wattage as the bulb. Thanks.

Id try the old one back in and see if it stays on, if it doesnt then im guessing some residual current is causing the LED to stay on

works with normal bulb not led
