Not the only Abarth in town anymore

« on: July 03, 2009, 12:07:47 PM »

My car was very twitchy this morning.  The front end felt like it was jumping around all over the place.  I was wondering if it could be the warmer temperatures giving higher tyre pressures.  I haven't had a chance to check them.

Ah ha.  Found the source of my problem.
Jacked it up (small trolley jack) and took the wheel round the corner to ATS.  £15 for a plug and new valve and a balance and they didn't mark the wheel at all (I did warn them that it was very soft alloy before they took the tyre off).
