Mine had a knocking noise and the dealers said rear axle bushes, I thought no way, so put the old original polish shocks back on and the noise went, so it is the Koni's on mine, sent them back now. Makes me trust dealers even less now. I even found a nice sharp tool left on the leather seats!
My next car is the Nissan Juke R, 4wd, 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine, the fast one in my avatar should be out soon! - They won't sell me one the Bas***s

Hi Andy

Where your shocks the black dealer supplied ones or the gold ones?  Just wondering if you had the gold ones what the return process is.

Cheers

Hi. My Koni's were the gold ones, just phone Trevor at Koni 01252 543 900 and he can sort it, you need a receipt though!

Do you  have Trevor's email address by chance ???   I have been emailing some UK retailers of the Konis asking them to check with their wholesale Koni supplier to see how this knocking issue has been addressed ??   The official line is that they are aware of only one issue that has been addressed as a warranty matter - rather than saying that there maybe something more fundamental at fault.

Damn, that could be a problem.  I still have my credit card statement with the purchase though.  Might be worth getting in touch with the shop to see if they can send me a copy.

I spoke to Phillip at Alfashop where I ordered the gold Konis from.  Super nice guy and extremely helpful.  Looks like sorting a replacement should be quite stress free.
