have a 500 , 2009 plate with ss kit from new 10k in black with climate , leather ,full history always garaged . any ideas of value as maybe changing to a clio gordini . as i said a MAYBE thanks guys / girls

Mutsey, you might want to keep your car a little.
Largest percentual lose has already been made, so driving it for another year will not get too expensive.
The factor of car taste is a personal thing here...

Theres plenty of 2009 A500SS between 12-13k on the dealer forecourts and independant showrooms (most have monza's)

So by you own admission the car is not worth £13k to the Abarthisti. It's worth £10k trade in or £11k to £11.500 privately as has been said.

Its only worth what your willing to pay for it 

I have only just backed up the second post, if the car is worth 11k why is it up for 2k more? allows for hagglings/warranties/valets/admin.

I see your logic but overpricing a car by £2K will just make people look elsewhere, not want to haggle.

Whether you as the owner are selling, you can advertise at the going rates as per autotrader ads, so that whether your buying or selling, its irrelevant  £12-13k is acceptable, whether you get that is another ball game. You got £11,600 in Aug 2011 you could of got more to be honest.


Its not worth around 13k to you, but it may be the exact car someones looking for, in there area with the right spec/combo's.

Why would anyone buy a car from a private individual and pay top forecourt price? You'd have to be completely mental.

I'd be amazed if anyone would.
