top draw learn something new every day  :thumb:
If you're in the V-Power club, you get fuel vouchers, which along with the better MPG and performance from V-Power, actually makes it more economical than regular 95...

Work hard peeps to get 400 points you need 200 ltrs of shell V - Power

Tesco 99 is 2p per ltr cheaper than V - Power so over 200 litres you save £4  :thumb:

So really your better off with Tesco 99 in the long run.... And a good review here to read but Tesco did out perform V - Power

What do use, normal unleaded or super unleaded?

I have always used super unleaded in my Audi and believe I can tell the difference. Mostly Tesco momentum and occasionally Shell V power

my car is tuned so only runs on v-power - even if standard then i would still run v power as averages another mile or 2 per gallon due to the engine not having to squirt more fuel in per stroke to cool the combustion chamber with lower (95) octane fuel. That makes the fuel pretty much cost neutral so the cleaning chemicals in v-power are had for nothing.

i'd save your money with the octane booster - i've seen plenty of them tested with absolutely no positive difference - v - power is already 99 octane - so offers plenty of resistance to knock/pre-detonation

in australia, v-power is only 98 but few years ago, shell bring out a better version of v power, it called V Power Racing with 101 Ron. But because Shell didnt sell enough of it, shell stopped selling those fuel anymore.

Since then, I bought fuel that was pump out from Japanese import off the importer for my last car. Because in Japan, you can get 103Ron off the street pump.

About Octane booster, I tested with few brand and actually putting the car onto the Dyno machine. There are very little improvement on both power and km. These day, I been lucky enough to get to know some people from the local v8 supercar team. They been helping me to get these octane booster and it works pretty well. I been able to get more KM out of the Abarth but I have not put it onto the Dyno yet.

Standard 98 Ron Fuel, I can get around 400km out of a full tank and with the booster, I been able to get 430-440 out of the tank.

In all my previous cars I've ran vpower. However since owning the a500, about 2 months, I've only used normal 95 Ron. I may switch back to vpower though and see if I can ge some pops from the standard exhaust :p
