Picking up our new car on the 1st and we are aware that there isn’t a glove box so don’t know where we will be able to store the sat nav that is out of sight but easily accessible.  Any ideas appreciated.

Depends on the depth of your Sat Nav unit -- you could use the "hidden" document compartment (that's where mine is!)  Cool

It's located on the underside of the dash above the shelf on the passenger side... If your bookpack is on the shelf, put your up-turned hand above it, then move your hand up until you touch the top.  Feel around and you'll find a small catch in there... use your fingertips to squeeze it gently forward and the panel will drop down  Grin

There is just enough room for my Mio 620 with its neoprene case in there.

When the hatch is closed you wouldn't even notice it  Thumb Up

If your car is the same as mine (delivered April last year), the satnav is incorporated at the centre of the instrument binnacle, as opposed to a separate dashtop unit.

Daborg, you have the blue & me nav which is built into the centre of the speedo.
Abarth also do an aftermarket version that sticks to the screen as a stand alone unit Thumb Up

Mine has a black case so I keep it in the door pocket pushed to the back behind the seat and you cannot see it from outside of the car.

Mine too.  The charger fits in the knee drawer and the newer TomTom mount sits nicely folded in a rear cup slot.  Tidy.

Mine is mounted at the bottom right of the window between the instrumend pod and A pillar. Well out of the way but great position.

It's down near the USB slot.

Try it like this and the trailing wire can be tidied out of the way in the knee compartment.  Also stops thieving scrotes from clocking the suction mark on the windscreen.

I don't know if mine doesn't have this "shelf" or it's just stuck but I tried to open it and broke 2 nails (short) on it....
Very strange

It’s a little awkward to open, even harder with long nails, my wife struggles with it, you will have to leave a couple of nails shorter just to open it. lol
