Seatbelt warning light

Dont think my poor car likes the weather the problems are getting worse. The seatbelt warning light is constantley on and beeping and flashing . Anyone had this problem or no Wat cause could be ?

Have a look round under the seat and check to see if the connectors are loose.

you're not carrying stuff on the passenger seat by any chance, that sets it off :thumb:

No nothing on passenger seat will check the wires but it's finding the seatbelt wires . Had a quick look and can't seem to see any wires from the seatbelt will have a proper look tommoroww tho .

After checking all under the seats wires seemed fine really dnt no Wat it can be. Don't want to take it to the dealer without nowing what the problem is tho as they will no doubt just turn the warning off . Any more help would be great????

The one for the seatbelt buzzer is the grey one under each seat. I unplugged mine as I have harnesses fitted. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in. Don't unplug the orange one - it's the airbag I think...  :o

after closer inspection i found out it was the passeger side and the plack plug at the bottom the wires had been cut im guessing from the runners of the seat. could anyone tell me wat the black plug is for im presuming its the bit that knows when you are sat on the seat? anyway its going back down to garage tommorrow to sort the brakes so hopefully a new one can be fitted.
