In regards to the clock, Ive never thought to check it lol like the missis I just take what ever they say as the 'gospel' trueth and wouldnt dream of questioning anything I was being told 'Even' something as unimportant like if either was telling me the incorrect time...

That dealer special looks great :thumb: Love the 695 stripes and if I didnt have side stripes I think Id be very very tempted to go for them.

As for the tree... Is it me or is it just randomly growing out of the side of the road?!? I mean its not like you'd park up overnight and come back in the morning to find its sprouted out of nowhere lol Someones let that grow and grow and grow right in the middle of the street - Awesome :D

Oh those trees................A bit surprised that they would cause comment

Yep they are growing out of the street – I live in a part of Sydney that is also called the Garden Suburb – based on a concept that was popular in the UK at the time (turn of the 20th Century).    So what this meant amongst many other things was extensive street tree plantings.   Most streets were initially very wide with the trees at the (unpaved) edge.  Later some of the streets were narrowed incorporating the trees into enlarged nature strips / footpaths and on the more major streets that remained wide the paving was extended to the tree line

Here endth the lesson on my Suburb

Back on topic – can the slow clock be fixed ?
