Standard tail pipe

HI, not sure if this is the right place for this but...
Bits of chrome on the standard Abarth 500 tail pipe have come off only on one side, the cars a 10 plate :(  I have not had chance to have a look as it is chucking it down with rain but can you get replacement chrome tip bits or is this even covered by manufacturers warranty?

Phoned them, I have to take the car in for photos so they can check with Abarth if they can change them through warranty and I can not send in my own pictures either.  :thumbd: but hopefully should get them changed.

Another option is, with Soooo many members changing their back boxes for Monza's or aftermarket items there are alot floatin about with low mileage and its always hard to know what to do with em.

Mine came off with about 3k put on it, dry use only, tailpipes always cleaned n polished every week and looks like new but is now sittin in a massive G-Tech cardboard box in the missis's spare room lol

ours was the exact same,changed no problem ---it`s a known issue,i`d be very surprised if not changed straight away,just follow the correct procedure

My workshop is around the corner from Autoworld, so if your hanging around and get bored you can pop in for a brew :thumb:

Thanks everyone - I would love to put a Monza on but funds are tight at the moment. Might get the ball rolling today. K77NAN - you will have to let me know where you are, pop kettle on! I have another mate with a garage round the back of Autoworld specialises in Auto diagnostics - worth knowing!!

HI All, Just an update, went to Autoworld this morning for them to take the pictures for authorisation, just got back home had a phone call to say that it has all been approved and new exhaust being fitted next week all on warranty - brilliant service thanks Autoworld!! :thumb:
