And not even the best bits at that.  :'(
Although it looks quite nice, is it really true to what Abarth/595 is all about? :-\ It feels like a step back to the body kit 'Abarths' of the '90s/early '00s :thumbd: :thumbd:

Please, please STOP :'(

perhape 595 should be the base model Abarth, so

FIAT 500
Abarth 595
Abarth 695

with boot trim badge to match :thumb:

Or replace the SS with the 595...
Or replace the 695 with the 595 and give the 695 the DQ treatment - but it's too late for that. What is clear is that there's no place for an SS and a 595 with the current configuration. It makes no sense :(
Either the Abarth guys never passed their O'Level marketing or they think we're mugs :thumb:

View it as i do, its a Esseesse in different clothes which for some unknown reason Abarth have decided to give it another moniker  ??? Stretching the platform a little
thin imho, i agree it should have more power but i doubt Tributo owners like yourself would be pleased if it had sported a bigger turbo,180 ponies and realistic price tag   ;D

I do prefer the idea of a SS spec 500 without the idiotic idea of the kit in the crate, a unique selling point, yes, but what a complete waste of time, money and materials  ::)

Its all down to cost, if its cheaper than an Esseesse with equivalent options then they wont be able to build enough of them,if its more expensive
then i doubt we will see many at meets :-\

The pessimist in me thinks this is a special edition final hurrah before the mark2 comes along next year  :-X but if Abarth thinks its viable, they will make money from it, then lets hope
they make enough cash to get the promised roadster off the drawing board  8)

Body kit Abarth of the past? i dont care i still like it  :thumb:

they've definitely missed an opportunity for a nice and simple set of designations :thumbd:

It's like when they restarted the brand, they had heritage amnesia. Pretty poor business really and an opportunity squandered.

don't think they got it totally wrong, the white car/ red stripes theme worked really well, and even the crate business was a nice if quirky touch,

probably time to move on a bit now and make the SS the minimum standard :thumb:

Car makers always put out special editions before updating a car to lure a few punters in.

When I first read about this I was worried I'd missed out ordering mine instead of waiting. The 595 should of been a brembo koni kit with the unique interior and paint, to me it seems half hearted, more show than go. I imagine there's a cost factor in there somewhere but we won't know until they are released.

I like the 595 but if its more than mine was for less go I wouldn't consider it.

Apart from the repetitive use of 695 I loved my crate and the option to customise at the dealer. If everything becomes an ss there needs to be additional things available on top to continue that.

BnW A500 red Stripes + mirrors, petals, Bonnet Scorpion, Now with added Koni's!
