Specially developed by Magneti Marelli, both suspension schemes have been optimised specifically for the Abarth 500C to ensure superb handling and the highest possible level of comfort.

it would be good to see what their interpretation of the above would be.

Photos or artists' impressions?

The rear view with the roof open plainly shows the bonnet to be same colour as the lower half of the car while the frontal views show the bonnet to be same colour as top half of the car

It's just the lighting (and or the processing they've done to the images). You just need to look at the first image to see that - you can see that one side of the bonnet is not terribly strongly lit, while the other side is strongly lit and has masses of light bouncing off it. It's this strongly lit side that you're seeing in the rear views.

every hairdresser in britain has just updated their dream cars I think.
Bit stereotypical to instantly refer to a hairdresser the very moment you see a convertible don't you think?  ;) I'm not a hairdresser and i like it...

Some images from the design stage here showing possible wheel options and flappy paddle setup...

AWESOME! Cheers Joe  :thumb:
This car must be growing on some of you sceptics? The most appealing things for me are the gearbox and the roof.....oh and the 2 tone paint  ;D

All sorts of wrong IMO.
As Keith Richards tells it, Jones came up with the name "The Rollin' Stones" (later with the 'g') while on the phone with a venue owner. "The voice on the other end of the line obviously said, 'What are you called?' Panic. The Best of Muddy Waters album was lying on the floor—and track one was 'Rollin' Stone Blues'".

i prefer the one colour car to two tones myself ......but maybe in the flesh (or should that be painted metal) maybe it will work better.......given a choice id want car all same colour.......

Interested in the gearbox (if its sporty enough) not sure on the wheels different sums it up for me  :thumb:

I'm more impressed with that than I thought I would be. Lose the two-tone and the flappy paddles for me. It reminds me of the two lads I saw in Verbier a couple of years ago who had a old one and had to leave the roof down come what may so they could fit their skis in........Now that gives me an idea.....
He's here, he's here, he's here....... :-)

I'm with you!  Love the idea of the paddles :thumb:  Just hope the "manual" paddle changes are quick and not jerky...  :-\
