Just walked past Meridien Modena and they have a white one with the tan interior and I really liked it - I just wish the A500 was available in the same colour scheme and we'd be trading ours in,

Today it has a 'sold' sign in the window  Sad  Thumb Up

Glad you got it, I'm still waiting.

Poor show hey @ pedal arrangement. Half hearted isn't it? Even more reason to look online for Sparco alloy/rubber pedals.

I've been given an A500c as a courtesy car (whilst my clutch pedal is fixed and Monza is fitted) and I have to say at first I didn't like the gearbox, but after having a full day of driving it I am very impressed! I didn't expect any backfires, but in semi-automatic (with the flappy paddles) it backfires on virtually every single gear change  Thumb Up The roof is also a very good design, I think I've been sun burned today!!

All in all I'd say it's a cracking car and if I had the cash, I'd have one....least the clutch pedal wouldn't snap anyway! lol

Now I wonder what A500C will sound had the Monza been fitted? Ben at Research was full of praise for it - their demonstrator A500C has a Monza fitted but I haven't test driven it yet.

The roof arrangement is neat, even if rearwards visiblity can be pretty limited.

Glad you changed your mind on it. Roll on end of Sept / early Oct for my A500C!  Thumb Up

Yeah rear visibilty can be limited when its fully lowered, but it is still very cool  Cool Really like the gearbox, although for town driving I'd prob use full auto, semi auto is great though if you want to put your foot down Thumb Up

I think the gearbox is something that takes a while to get used to, but once you've adapted to using it, you learn to love it (remember they said the Internet would never catch on!) My mum had the duelogic (similar gearbox) in her Panda but never gave it a chance, she sold it after just 1800 miles  Thumb Down

Yes, when I test drove the demonstrator, I left it in Auto mode in town, but did semi-auto on the motorway / dual carriageway

I love it! Lots of pops and in sport mode and i use the paddles a lot and the noise with the roof down is awesome . i will get the monza. reasons i did not are in members car thread. it sounds good with the standard exhaust so the monza will be better. i am glad i went for the C Thumb Up
