Now for UK prices for the Bicolour.....!

Looks like the Bicolours are likely to be an £899 option, although you must also have the leather option selected.  This is yet to be confirmed.  More news in a bit.

Bicolour version 1,700 Euros more than standard monocolour, but to be fair leather is standard. That would be a supplement of about £1,500 based on Italian prices.

I assume you're quoting Delaney somewhere in all of that!

Bicolour £899 + leather £800 = £1699.  TBC, of course.

I'm just typing up the rest.

So, you lose the interscope & the red calipers as standard compared to the A500...  I guess that's to offset for adding the parking sensors & Xenons to the A500C?

I see this is pricing is now all up on the Vospers website.  If it's right, then there's only the titanium roof, and there's no grey leather.  Surely this cannot be right.  We haven't seen one picture of the black/white version with the titanium roof.  Also where's the "white stripe and mirrors" for the red or grey versions?  I'm going to stop even thinking about this now until the official stuff comes out...  Whistle

The configurator on our website is a "work in progress" just to give people a taster. Once all of the official gumf comes out then you can be assured it will be up to date.

I actually referred to the Italian market; the prices were illustrated in Euros ex-works and net. The document was posted on this forum from another forum by another poster here.

Reading it, leather is standard ('serie' in Italy) in the Bicolour otherwise 900 Euros. There is the choice of two two-tone colours at 800 Euros when ordering Bicolour version. The A500 Bicolour carries a premium of 1,700 Euros so that is why I said earlier today about the price being that.

I can't believe speculation is ongoing but discussion and debate is good. The same happened to the 458 Italia and its options! Back in the early 1990's the Mercedes 600SEL was predicted to cost £80,000 but when it was released, it was £90,000. And that was during the recession...

Thanks anyhow for typing up the 'unofficial' 'unconfirmed' 'not signed off' UK prices. It looks like give and take.

The suspense and savings regime continues....

These prices have now been confirmed, and I've updated my earlier post (I was only £1 out on the Bi-colour option prices, but the colour options have changed).

Leather sports interior£800
Climate Control£260
50/50 split-folding rear seats (included with leather)£150
Auto-dimming rear view mirror£100
Red brake calipers and wheel centre caps with red border£150
Interscope Hi-fi system£260
17" diamond-finish alloy wheel painted white, with a 5-petal design and 205/40 R17 tyres£175
17" diamond-finish alloy wheel with an anthracite background, with a 5-spoke design and 205/40 R17 tyres£175
Red/White/Black Stripes and Mirrors£160
White Trim Liner£46
Black Trim Liner£46
Red Trim Liner Pack (Bicolour only - inc. Red body line, red brake calipers, red wheel centre cap borders)£200
Wind stop£150

Available colours are listed as Gara White (£400), Officina Red (£400), the new Record Grey metallic (£400), plus the two Bicolour options of Scorpion Black/Gara White (£900) and Pista Grey/Campovolo Grey (£900).  Campovolo Grey is now the no-cost option.

The choice of roof and leather colours follows an incredibly complex matrix which, quite frankly, I can't be bothered to type up since apparently "another forum" knows more than we do.  Roll Eyes  If you want the skinny, ring your dealer.

Well i thought i would share something regarding the new Abarth models and the percived market for the A500C.

Abarth’s latest creations hit the Italian market: new versions of established models. With the Abarth Punto Evo, the brand aims to strengthen its position among young customers, whereas with the Abarth 500 C it also targets women.

A number of collegues were making comments about this. I'm sure a few of you might have some views on this!!

I DON'T
Personal opinion of course but i think the 2 tone paint breaks up the lines too much.
Less is more and this looks like a handbag on wheels.

My 2p now....

someone must have a sense of humour in quoting £900 Thumb Down for the bicolour option.

Mono colour - £400. Since bicolour uses only half of each other, I fail to see how they can justify more than twice charge for it. Again, I refer to the Italian price list which quote 666.67 Euros ex-works / 800 Euros inc IVA (Italianspeak for VAT) which worked out as £670 more or less.

That's nearly a 50% mark-up  Shocked

I invite someone at Abarth UK to comment on this.
