I'm still 50/50 i like it, i like the colour options, but i don't like this association with women! I really don't know why, if you see a Topless Lambo, Aston, Fezza you don't think girls car, and i don't think it when i see the A500C, maybe the F500C but not the Abarth!

Oh and I'm really liking this colour combo, just screams retro hot rod to me, especially with those wheels!   Cool

That's because topless Lambos are definitely not for girlies..... Grin

I like the 500c just wouldn't spend my own money on one if that makes sense, but I do like the bi-colour seeing it away from the bleached out press shots

I kind of agree. Love the bi-colour, and the wheels/options etc, but i don't think having a large canvas sunroof is worthy of the extra premium over the normal A500. If only the bi-colour were available on the A500...

Insurance groups released: the Abarth 500C isn't rated in the old 1-20 grouping, only the new 1-50 system.

There, it's in group 27 - between the tin-top Abarth 500 (group 26) and the esseesse (group 28).

Quite good for a rag-top.

Now for the wait till 1st September!  :thumb:Am also thinking of the monza exhaust after reading peoples positive feedback on here but have not heard it myself so am a little reluctant to spend the extra cash without doing so.

Your dealer should have a 500 with a monza fitted, its part of the minimum standards Thumb Up

Well done for taking the plunge - another A500C owner in due course.

That makes two (or three) of us so far.

The Monza exhaust is a tempting prospect but a) I wonder what my insurers say about it b) I'm deaf so no gain for me c) I prefer single outlets at either side.

It is an Abarth option so there is nothing to declare to your insurance company.  Here is the thread for details on it.

They take about 4 weeks from ordering to arrive.

I would still declare it the same as leather and optional wheels on a new car, as dealer fit options they tend not to add anything to the premium but means your covered on any replacement vehicle.
