I got mine 1/9/10.

I have had various slight niggles with it from the Drivers Door catching and rubbing piant off the wing to the stripe not being stuck down properly.

All have been sorted with no problem by the Dealer.

The car is great to drive. I have had a number of sporty cars - Peugeot 306 GTI6 and Mini Cooper S, but this is by far the best and also an excellent level of standard equipment.

The Cooper S cost an arm and a leg standard and wen you added the optionals on it became very expensive. It also had run flat tyres which cannot be repaired if you get a puncture!

As with Stewart above, the drivers door handle courtesy LED light stopped working. I had it replaced but with a white one. the dealer ordered another and replaced my Passenger door handle light with that - so they match. So now have 2 White door handle LED lights.

i agree with various other comments on here - it certainly turns a lot of heads :thumb:

Something to be aware of, if you have a puncture and use fix and go kit to get you home or to a tyre place this will also require a new tyre, so see if it'll pump up enough to hold air and get you to a garage.

i love my cooper s, but its really too small for my needs now ... im very much looking forward to getting my APE, tho i still gotta test drive one yet haha

You haven't even driven one yet!!! Might wanna give it a go as they are VERY different to a cooper S. Drove my mum's regular cooper with sports suspension and the handeling was in a different league to the EVO. Infact the difference was so big that I ordered coilover's the next day!

Will say the standard ride is superbly damped where as the mini was a real bone shaker.

ive no doubt whatsover its going to be a completely different ride to the cooper s ... as have all the sports performance cars (and bog standard jobbies) i've owned and driven over the years ... 3.0 TT supra, impreza, C4 vts, smart forfour brabus, r5 gt turbo, pug 405 mi16 x4, renault 21 turbo, renaultsport megane 225  (have I forgotten any?? i dunno maybe) .... to be fair i've never had an italian car, so i'm very much looking forward to seeing how they fair against the rest of the makes ive had ... i get bored quickly with my cars, usually change them about once a year, so the APE has a lot to live up to lol :D

i have just had to get rid of the cooper s so i could buy a sensible car that my 18 yr old daughter could drive too, soooo at present im in a 1.4 fiesta ... the APE is going to be a dream to drive compared to THAT  ;D

Wow you have had some pretty cool cars in your time!!! TT Supra, R5 GTT are both cars I've always wanted. Also the Brabus' are pretty rapid from what i've herd, they use the same platform as the Colt CZT but were faster  ;D

yea the forfour did have the mitsi colt engine, i got a good run for my money with that one, only got rid of it cos my daughter had a pony and i traded it in for a rav 4 (more practical at the time lol)

the gt turbo was bags of fun specially scaring old people and young kids with the tssscchhhhh of the DV every time i dumped the clutch looool

me a petrol head?? noooo

Ive had the car for coming up a year now and never take it out of sport mode. Have done 8000 miles in it with only cosmetic problems, including a stuck passenger side seat release and a squeaky back seat clip. Its a joy to drive and a joy to be seen in, i'd reccomend one wholeheartedly, just prepare to fall in love with it and feel bad if its left out in the rain, not just because you'll have to wash it again either!

Well mine is coming up to to its 18k service, problems to date, none.
Its my daily driver, love it, drive it :thumb:
