Dipped and Full Beam - Both on at the same time?
« on: February 02, 2012, 08:44:36 PM »
Hey guys,

One thing that annouys me about my APE is the fact that when you have full beam on, this will turn the dipped beam off - this doesn't sound an issue but I can't stand it. Why on earth they didn't leave dipped beam on when you change to full beem is a mystery. When you flash someone dipped beam wont turn of!

Anyone does anyone know if there is a way to get around this?

Thanks a lot

Think you'll find that it's pretty much standard on any single bulb car - think it's something to do with heat..

H4's don't like both filaments burning at the same time.

You normally need a separate bulb set up, like an H1 and H3, to enable dip and main beam at same time.
