Horn

Any recommendations for an easy-to-fit replacement horn that might stand some chance of being heard by a lorry driver in the rain on the M4?  Or by anyone else on the road for that matter...

Have a google for Stebel NAUTILUS COMPACT SERIES

They are loud and can be twin tone. Wanted one myself but might have to take the bumper off to fit, unless it can be fitted by just taking the engine tray off.

An ordinary swap-out twin tone horn would do fine.  My two Unos had them in the 1980s, and the Punto GTs both had them.  The Alfa 75 has one, but the APE has one that might as well not be there...

The Mito I had as a courtesy car had a 'proper' italian twin horn set up. Made my APE sound like a strangled duck! Just have to wait for a scrappy Mito or just order the parts....... adds to the list of a million other jobs to complete  8)

Yer thats the one thing i was dissapointed with! I went from a Volvo C30 (It probily had a boats fog horn under the bonnet it was that loud!) to my Abarth which sounds like a moped horn :P

Greetings. I've had the same thought when I first purchased my Abarth. I replaced the stock car horn in my Grande Punto Abarth Esseesse with the Punto GT's twin horn particularly, and now it sounds great! :D

Fortunately it's replaceable, so, no problem. ;)

That's what you need...
:lala:
Do you own a Punto EVO Abarth. If yes, I'd recommend the Punto GT's twin horn for your car.

I'll look into it.

I have twice been the owner of a Punto GT horn - in both cases with a Punto GT attached to it...

LMFAO!!! I keep watching it and it makes me laugh everytime! That guys reaction is pure priceless!

I've favourited it for the dull days! :P

Anyway whats the punto GT horn? Does it just simply fit on? After going from a Volvo to this, i can't live with the timid horn! :P
