Just a quick update. Had a phonecall from the dealer - my car arrives in the country 2nd week of August and then needs to be delivered to the dealer. Assures me should be OK for 1st Sept! Was originally scheduled for end of Sept!

I went on the www.Abarth.it website as the UK version has not had the car configurator updated to the Evo. Anyway, as i can't save the picture of what ir's like, go on the website - showroom and car configurator.

Mine is going to be in White, with the scorpion alloys, red stickers and the skydome sunroof. Have also got climate, auto windscreen wipers and electro chromatic rear view mirror. If you put that lot in it will give you an idea of what it's gonna look like.

Tell me what you think - would be interested to know.

Bauer- Millett (Manchester) - local dealer - has just got one in the showroom - in campovolo grey. Am gonna have a look on Saturday.

Will let you know how i get on

I saw the grey evo on monday and it looked really nice.I think it will be beter in white though.And i know what you mean about the sunroof,i have one on my agp ss and could not do without it.Hope you got a good deal as i priced it up just with sunroof and white paint and was told £17800 ouch!!

They would not knock anything off the car at all. I had a 1.2 16v Punto Sporting i was part exing 52 Reg. Booked in at £1300. Gave me £1500 but i then said whats your best price and they uped it to £2k. That was Mid June. So not bad i think. In total £16285 after £2k part ex

I am going to have a look at the Grey one in Bauer Millett now- it's in the showroom so can't test drive. However, the salesman who i had my dealings with dd say he would take me out in it when he is back off holiday in a week! So will be bobbing down again and hopefully behind the wheel.

i will keep everyone posted on progress and obviously post some photos when i have my own APE in my hands!

How many weeks to go to September? - i'm not counting - HONEST!

My honest opinion is that the power between the G.P. SS and the N.P. multiair is about the same

the evo i drove at goodwood didn,t feel slow to me and i normally drive an SS with tmc box

One of the Evos on the Abarth stand at Silverstone was red with white. 



Looked OK, but I preferred the idea of red with black stripes myself.

The mesh effect on the standard seats is quite cool, very reminiscent of the 'fish-net stockings' on the Strada Abarth head restraints.
