5.5 Update

Hey, im just trying to update my blue&me system and cannot find instructions for it anywhere. Could anyone help please.

Its easy,
Down load file.
upzip
put file on stick
put stick in car
turn ignition to position one and wait until it's finished.
Simples :wave:

Right that didnt work.... i have a feeling it has something to do with the C82E.CAB, C82R.CAB and C82S.CAB files. Since i am using mac i think these havent been properly unzipped, are they supposed to be just folders with files inside of them? At the moment it looks like they arent. Hmmmmm

Never tried it with a MAC so i'm afraid I will be no help.

all files in the main zip need to go onto the root of a USB stick formatted in FAT32 - if your using a mac go into disk utility erase the drive in MS-DOS (FAT)
extract the zip
copy all files to the USB Drive, do not put them in a folder.

do not extract the cab files, they need to remain cab files, i believe there are a few inf files and a few cabs (been a while since I've done it)

Error 10 means system is already at version you are trying to update too.

All sorted now :) the error 10 was actually coming up because i was trying to install Blue&Me to a Blue&MeNav system, managed to find the Nav files and update from that instead, worked first time  :thumb:

Hi peeps, am new to the forum, I have been reading this post and tried to update my wife's A500 SS, but each time I download the files one reports back as corrupt? Any pointers guys? Ty  :thumb:
