Hi all,
My Iphone was connecting via the blue and me adaptor to my A500 perfectly.
I could listen to music, change tracks, shuffle etc with no problem whatsoever.  Angry
Today though a service pack downloaded through itunes, and onto my phone. Now it connects at first for about three seconds, then reverts to radio. If you go through the menu to swith on media player, it says "No source available"
If you unplug it, it starts again but only for three seconds etc.
Anyone come across this?
Apples prescriptive approach to there products is really starting to get on my wick. It is my phone, not theirs!

Rant over, any ideas?

Did you update your phone software to iOS4 by any chance? If so you need to do a reset under settings - general - reset - reset all.

It will require you to refind you wifi and any re do other settings you have changed though.

Hi,
I plugged it into Itunes at work this morning, and a download was there ready. I just pressed go thinking it was the usual un obvious bug removal stuff.
When I turned it on there were a few visual changes. Then I plugged it into blue and me and GGGRRRR. Not working.
Support were no help whatsoever as usual....

I have done a complete restore, but as ever Apple are clever enough to delete all previous versions of the software during the upload process, so it has just restored it with the latest version again...

I will try the reset as you suggest.

You must be the only person left in the universe who didn't know that version 4 of the apple operating system was out there - congratulations on avoiding the Apple hype  Grin

Thank you very very much. I was starting to get Rage, much to the annoyance of my wife Grin
I didn't hold out much hope after a full system restore did nothing to aid the problem, but I guess that would just restore the same problem to the phone as it is held in the restore file.

On the bright side you can now put your apps in little folders and allegedly multitask.

Hi,
When you mentioned it I did look for the folder ability on my Iphone. Can't really see the point. It just replicates your 11 operating pages of apps anyway...

Whatcha need to do is press one untill they all go wobbly. Then drag one on top of another and it will create a folder with them both in. You can do this in iTunes.

You change between applications that are running at the same time by double clicking the home button.

I have now got this problem on my Nano.

Was working absolutely fine until I updated last night. Also going to try this reset.

I hope it works!!!
