Help!!

I had a Blackberry 8820 and its been replaced with an 8520 by Orange. I have managed to pair the phone with the car but it keeps saying 'failed to connect' once paired. So the phone shows 'blue and me', but it won't connect. It seems to connect for a minute but then fails.

Can anyone help please as this has majorly annoyed me!!

Did you delete all the previous personal data before pairing the new device?

Check your new device is on the approved list and that you have the latest firmware (5.4).

Try deleting and re-pairing again.

If still no good, a battery disconnection solves a multitude of sins; however, it maybe that your new device is just not supported yet.

Thanks....I've deleted the users and re-paired and it now works fine!! Thank you.

How do I check the version of my software please?

How old is your car?
B&M was updated in August of 2009 so if your car is after that then it should be fine
