blue and me crash
« on: September 21, 2011, 01:34:57 PM »
Any tips on how to reboot it, I can't see anything in the menus, basically it mostly works but has stopped showing tracknames etc, the display just tells me MEDIA PLAYER 00:00 it doesn't relay track time or anything, using buttons on the wheel it will still skip forward and back playing my mp3s on the stick, I have not changed the stick in weeks, this behaviour has just happened out of the blue.

Battery off reboot might kick it into being, worth sticking an alternative stick with 2-3 songs in afterwards before putting your proper one in again. This just ensures it rebuilds the libraries.

I'll try a reformat of the stick and some new tunes, fingers crossed that'll sort it.

reformat did not work :(

disconnecting the battery did :)

They had obviously thought that bit through, tool free quick release battery terminal, awesome idea, I;ve not seen that on a car before, outside of the switches for motorsport.  8)

Good stuff, turning it off and on again solves so many problems  ;)

Glad it was just system issues.  When I read the title I thought you might have driven into a ditch trying to figure out how to use the thing.
