Can someone help me out here please! I can't get the thing to work. The navigation system is useless and doesn't recognise hardly any addresses. For example, it doesn't know where Poole in Dorset is!!! As for the only bit I bought this gadget for, the telemetry, it doesn't get past the sport window showing a picture of an A 500. with some square dots underneath. You can't do anything with it,  and then have to switch the machine off and switch on again to find another menu! Another piece of rubbish from Fiat. Spagetti electrics! Thanks and pulling my hair out!!!

I had the same issues with the adresses, but then found out the thing was still set on the Italy map.
Upon switching to the right one, all was well.
Might be the same for you?

Likewise I was warned off - and it was the telemetry that was of most interest. Reckon a Race Technology DL1 same as in my race car will do a better job for not much more cost. Might even be able to swap mine back and forth for the cost of an extra loom and antenna

Thanks guys. I left my unit on yesterday, then totally out of the blue, the sport telemetry came on! I then logged into the circuits and found Goodwood and Castle Coombe!! Maybe it will work after all!! I will let you know. Just very slow.

Greetings,

Any word on if the Tom Tom will be avail for the A500. Ive pulsed my dealer here in Stuttgart and have nothing to report. We tried the Punto Evo model and it was no problem fitting etc. The system was not recognized by my A500 though.

Had to return my Abarth Nav because it would not charge in or out of the car.
Low and behold my new replacement system works as well as my Tom Tom or Falk. Maps are great and routes are planned with no problem. I can even activate the speedtrap system. I dont understand the inconsistency with this A500 Nav. Happy for now  Smiley
