Your dealer needs to check "docushare" (they will know what you mean) and they will find the update with full installation instructions  Thumb Up

You would need to get it checked by a dealer with the examiner system.

Ta for that.

I have been told that the version available on the Fiat.it website is in a different configuration to that required for UK Abarths.  I would strongly recommend that people don't attempt to update the Blue&Me software themselves.

All Abarth dealers have now been issued with the required files and procedures and the update doesn't take long.  Book it in, sit back and enjoy a coffee while they handle the update for you.

Edit: The update is now available for UK-spec cars from the Fiat UK website.

Details here: Blue&Me upgraded with new software and adaptor

Files from fiat.it and fiat.com are exactly the same files. I've checked their MD5 checksums.

I too, love this sort of thing.  It's what a forum is brilliant for.

Am I naive in thinking we should expect to be invited to our dealers for an upgrade, or is a matter of bothering them?

Can anyone clarify whether the update allows aac?  (I've got a load on a stick already)

The Dealers should email or call to say there's an update avaiable. Possible John?

Its far more likely that you will be offered the update free of charge when you have a service or any warranty work done.

Well something's bound to wrong before 18,000 miles, so that's OK then.
