As my girlfriend said to me 5 min ago welcome to the world of annoying mp3's!!!!
I have a few questions mainly about mp3's and blue and me. I've got my phone working perfect message reader etc etc.
1, I've changed all my files on my usb stick to start with the relevant number (worked out that it didntlike it starting 01, 02 etc what itunes rips in) so why doesnt it play in order? Well some albums it does.. Seems to have trouble with compilations.
2, What type of playlist does it support because i tried creating one in both itunes and WMP and it failed
Thanks if you can help.

Yo, maybe I can help you out...
1. It doesnt read the filename - it reads the IDv3 tag that is built into your file. This is how it builds your library. If you open any program that can read IDv3 tags (such as itunes - click on song, propertines, and you can then see the "tag" - Artist, Album, composer, Genre, etc, etc - edit these if you want them in order, but best way would be to create a playlist).
2. Yea, its a M3U or PLS playlist file that windows media produces. Not sure if Winamp can also produce a M3U file?

You wouldn't believe how well tagged my tracks itunes libary is.
So i though it might be a bit too well tagged so i removed some of the info which just made it worse. Suddenly 10 came after 1!!!

Ok, it may be reading them in alphabetical...as in 1,10,11,12...
try renaming the single digit track numbers to 01,02,03 instead of 1,2,3, see if that works...

Well i've finally created some playlist in the rubbish that is Windows Media player so i'm off out to sit in the drive to see if they work.
I suppose its only what we should expect Americans and Italians creating something could only ever end in something that could be called random
