limmortal 55mph on the motorway must have been a tough challenge not to let that right foot get heavy

You wouldn't believe - i was trying to hold back a paving slab by the end of it.

its not so bad if you got the cruise contol on and your in no rush.... you can actually get some decent MPG with the AGP doing 60 on a motorway.  Thumb Up

Right foot will always get better economy than the computer - if you anticipate the hills and drops you can judge your speed on approach to maximise!

yea but motorway driving is BORING!!!  Thumb Down

to be honest i thought id never use it but after i came back from america, where i notched up a silly amount of miles on the "highway" i got used to it.

odviously im sure the cruise control will have an effect on your MPG but how much will it be? cant be a lot really?

Cruise control has a positive effect on your licence though, especially through the SPECs on the motorway.  Roll Eyes

god knows what i'm doing but my last 2 jorneys to work have got scores of 42 on thursday and a very poor 33 this morning. Didnt even think i was thrashing it either.
