Has anyone else had the problem when you are listening to songs from your ipod and on some songs it sounds like it gets stuck/jumps, bit like what you get on cd players?

I dunno where to start or look first...

Pootle

Did you find out what was causing this. I've picked my A500 up this week  Grin and I've bought the adapter for my 3GS.

The best way that I can discribe the problem is that it sounds like a digital version of the neddle feedback on vinyl. Theres a little blip thats really bugging me. First I thought it was the songs that I'd downloaded, but it doesn't do it with the memory stick that I use.

Is it the phone?

Is it the adaptor?

I don't know how to get rid of it  Banghead

Pmsl. I'd searched on here as soon as I'd plugged it in. I'm going to try my brothers 3gs to try and rule the phone out.

You can't hear it most of the time. But if the tune I'm listening is partly just vocal or ambient sounds it's clear as day.

I can't drive round with my speakers full blast all the time.

Hoping I've got a dodgy phone. Then again I didn't insure it so don't know what I'm gunna do if it's the phone.

We'll sort it ot Pootle.....even if it is just you and me lol

My husbands ipod works fine in the car, so i dunno...

U can really notice it when it jumps on mine, it can get to the stage that when it jumps, it will jump a couple of times then the radio will just come on, probably a sign the car dont like my songs.

I was gonna buy a new ipod lol, after all its only year and half old.....

Right....tested it with another Iphone, still getting the noises.

However, it doesn't do it when the car is running, so for me there's some kinda electrical feedback once I've started up my car thats affecting the output.

Still none the wiser really as to what the root cause is, but at least it means my phone isn't buggered.

Pootle. Any member of the forum live close to you that you swap adaptors with to test wether it's your adaptor thats potentially faulty?

Or just swap adaptors with Whistle

Has noone else come across this, even if it's in a different car and not the A500? Might try Fiat tomorrow to see if there's been any others exchanged due this issue. Not appy Angry
