Issues with bluetooth on HTC Hero

Only had my A500c a few days and found a problem with the bluetooth connection to my HTC Hero (Android) phone.

Its all paired etc, I tend to leave the Bluetooth on all the time on my phone. But often when getting in the car it does not link up with the Blue and Me. The only way round is to turn the bluetooth off and then back on again which is a bit of a pain each time you get in the car.

I would assume that the firmware on the Blue and Me is pretty much up to date? How do I check this and I assume its quite easy to update if needs be?

Which version of Android are you running? I have it in my head the Hero never moved beyond 1.5

As you have a 500c there hasn't been a newer version of B&M since its release

I used to have the same issue with my Magic, the 1.6 update helped a lot but the real solution was updating my phone as I've not had it at all with my Desire. I genuinely think its the combo of phone and car not the car itself, they must have changed the BT hardware on later HTC phones.
