Sat Nav with Blue and Me

Please can someone confirm that there is such a thing as a "Blue&Me TomTom 2 Live" that works with an Abarth, Fiat or Alfa.  I am begining to wonder if the whole thing is a con and I have bought a £150 sat nav for £300.

I have tried to pair my TomTom 2 to my Blue&Me on my APE and whilst the Blue&Me appears to recognise the TomTom the TomTom always comes up with the message that the pairing was unsuccessful.  I tried the device on a friends Alfa Guilietta and still it will not pair.  I have tried to run the 5.5 patch but that has not helped.

Is there anyone who has successfully paired a Blue&Me TomTom Live to their Blue&Me on any Fiat product, is it really possible?

It will work with a Fiat but not an Alfa or an Abarth.
It is not the Tom Tom at fault, there is a piece of software missing from the car which wont allow it to pair properly.
In a Fiat, when you pair with the unit the car will tell the nav which car you have and in what colour so the nav can change the icon on the screen to match.
This file is not in the Alfa or Abarth so the nav refuses to pair properly.
Still a very good stand alone sat nav that needs no cables but it will NEVER pair with the car.

Thank you for your reply, this was what I suspected.   

I will need to get back to the Dealer now and ask for either compensation for the fact that the device is no more than a TomTom 2 Live and as such worth £150 to an Abarth Owner or I get a full refund and somehow obtain the bracket and a £150.00 bracket.   I don't believe the dealer delibrately sold me something they knew didn't work it was simply that there are so few sold to Abarth owners that they are not aware that they will not pare up.
