USB died a500
« on: January 13, 2012, 05:58:32 PM »
Recently the radio stopped picking up any stations, didn't think much of it as I don't listen to the radio. But now my USB point isn't working, plugging my iPhone in it doesn't recharge and the system doesn't come on automatically like it should when you plug it straight in.

I thought it might be the cable so I replaced that. Still no joy. Is there a fuse or something for the USB port? My only thought is, I left my iPod plugged in overnight , would it have burnt it out or something.

Any ideas?

Now I've only got the cd player left and that will probably go t*ts up as well!!!!

Try disconecting your battery and put it back on.Blue and me sometimes does play up.My usb wasnt picking up but the dealer did this and also updated the blue and me software and it works fine now.You can get the updated version of blue and me from fiat website and i think you just download it onto your memory stick.Failing that ask your dealer incase its actualy packed up and needs a new blue and me.
