usb problems :(

I have been using a 4gb stick in my agp ss for about 3 weeks now no problems l. I added a load.of songs today and it now only plays the old songs not the new ones.   :thumbd:
the media player now also keeps crashing/ stops working :S
anyone got any ideas??

Yeah. Rip the useless standard head unit out and fit an after market one in like im doing :thumb:

It's the firmware.  It keeps shuffling the same old songs.  But the firmware is not the problem on my GPA.  My problem is that sucky iPOD which has a mind of its own and gets stuck all the time.  I will never buy ISchrott again (Schrott is the German word for scrap  ;D ).

how do i sort it out? I dont have the songs on shuffe though :S

Dunno, my iPod hasn't worked for about 2 months now.  It does that, goes off and then suddenly comes back on.  I blame Apple personally.  You should be able to get off the shuffle through the menu button.  I tried it once while driving, but then couldn't be asked, as it required too much attention from looking at the road.

I am only using a usb stick ??? I tried getting it off shuffle but when i clicked on albums anything just came up with please wait  :-\

two things that can work:

1) get another stick with a few songs on and plug that in, let it re-build its internal files structure, play one or two from it and you should then be able to put you original stick back in. Its possible its internal library has become corrupted.

It has been noted early B&M systems can be finicky about stick types, my 500 is and I know AlexK's AGP was as well.

2) Hard re-boot the B&M system by taking your +ve terminal off for a few minutes.

when using usb player only plays 1 track at a time although artist has been selected and play all, unless you forward manually same track keeps playing, anybody got any ideas

I have tried a different memory stick with the songs on it and this didnt work i disconnected the battery for couple of minutes so it reset everything and this still didnt work  :thumbd:

the handbook recommends certain memory sticks, i use the sandisk 2gb and have no problems :thumb:
