It always seemed to be the size of the stick not the contents for me, a 16GB knocked mine out for nearly a month but a new software version came out and started it back up again.

Is there anything different about the new songs you've added?  Different format?  DRM/protection?

How has the stick been formatted?  FAT or FAT32?

Ha, suddenly on Wednesday the ISchrott (Schrott is the German word for Scrap) came back to life.  Amazing how temperamental this is. How do Apple make money?

I am still waiting for joy experiencing these B&M problems.

I noted these are quite common in other FGA cars so when I came across this suggestion on an Alfa forum I copied for future reference ...see below

"I agree, the Blue&me music player is crap. The fix is pretty easy. First format your memory stick with Fat32, then go and get the BluMeUSB optimizer program from http://www.spoelstrait.nl/BluMeUSB/ Costs 5 euro but will fix all of your tags and filenames automatically and when you consider what you spent on the car and how many hours it would take to fix manually its a bargain. And third limit yourself to around 1900 tracks as there is a limit of approx 2000 for the system to be able to index. No more problems after that - but really it can't cope with stuff that a $50.00 el cheapo MP3 player will handle and it should be so much better"

Hope this helps
So Loving Ruby
