I live in Brum but was born and raised in West Brom.... so I have to do my best Sir Patrick Stewart impression to get through to the voice control ;D

I've noticed that with different phones it can sometimes expect different ways of Pronunciation.

You sure it can hear you - mine had a knackered microphone which was replaced. That said I only use it to answer calls as I tried the voice recognition once and it didn't work so I gave up.

One of my friends asked what the 'Windows button' does on my steering wheel. So I showed them by pressing it and saying "next song", and they were somewhat impressed despite it being far easier to just press the 'next song' button.

I then jokingly asked it to "Kill Pliskin" (Pliskin being the nickname for my friend). It then asked if I wanted to call him ::) I was pretty impressed that it managed to find the phonebook entry from what I said and have since used it a few times instead of scanning through the phone book.

Any other funky commands for the voice recognition? I assume it can't find song names?

I tend to mainly use mine to get to the artist/album/genre lists.

Press button say the appropriate word  ;)

It is actually the plural though, so for the album list, press windows button say 'albums'
