Not your typical track day rules there then!

Any track day I've been on, You'd be flagged straight away.

That looked familiar in that the Audi (A3 especially) was pulling away on the straights and then the Abarth closing up through the bends.

I had a Humdinger with a Golf GTI Mk6, his 207bhp showed on the straights but I'd close up on the twisty's.

Audi driver was driving like a muppet- hammering the straight but being very cautious in the corners and not even bothering with a racing line. On top of that he was messing with his indicators which suggests it was either deliberate or total incompetence. The abarth driver wasn't helping himself though wasting the advantage through the corners and exit speed by sitting too close and risking a nasty accident at the same time
