About £12 from cleanyourcar. Use about four layers if you be bothered and cleaning your wheels will be as easy as pie for months to come.
Get some Bilberry wheel cleaner while you're at it too.

Another for rimwax sure there's better but not used any other to date !!

Alloy brite from work is excellent for removing the crap spray on leave it wash off re apply bright and shiney (then a quick coat with RIMWAX)

hate the standard alloys pain in the arse to clean  :thumbd:

I am pleased to confirm that it does the job. At first I was sceptical, but I am pleased with the results.

Also you have to bear in mind the all-white finish is gloss, whereas the original surface finish felt like Tupperware. I could now apply water and the dust just wipe off.

I use Finish Kare 1000p sealant on mine as I already have some, gives good results,
Noticed some brake dust embedded in the wheels today so going to have to look at getting some iron x or purple rain, anyone used either of these products?

Spot on advice from Hippo.

Poorboys & Bilberry = winning combination  :thumb:

The rimwax stuff can't be layered up therefore nowhere near as good.

Agreed. Get some FK1000P, ideal for white paintwork, as well as alloys; I think with the temperature resistances you could probably apply to the exhaust as well - not sure how well that would hold up though. Big pot, so will last you forever, rather than having 2-3 different waxes.

I've got Iron-X, worst smelling thing, ever. Tried it on my alloys, but being a dumbass, I forgot they were brand new and only had ~200 miles on them, so it was of little use. But on well worn alloys, I can imagine it will do the job. Or, if you have any used clay bars that aren't good enough for paintwork, give that a shot first. :thumb:

@OP, a good going over with VP Bilberry + a pressure washer will sort the crud out before you seal them. After you seal, if you keep on top of the cleaning, you won't even need a dedicated wheel cleaner, I doubt.
