« on: December 20, 2011, 07:46:00 PM »
Hi from Stuttgart,

Has anyone seen one of these in the UK? Picked this link up off Abarthforum.de. Looks great. Ive asked the guy who posted it how much and where. I have not seen this anywhere around me here in the Stuttgart area.

Google Translation to the rescue again!

Plain English:-

They exist. These days, the irresistibly tempted to switch to two wheels and let the warm wind blowing in your face. Whether you bustle you into a summery-tempered city throw, you swing for the short distance to the swimming pool in the saddle or want to enjoy a relaxed exit after work - on scooter or motorcycle you experience this up close and intense mood.

Precisely for these occasions there is finally the right outfit: the Abarth open-face helmet is there, in sizes S to XL. Even if your Abarth be an exception in his garage remains, that is, in future, that you must no longer do without a rapid appearance in the colors of the scorpion.

The clear design with the characteristic red stripes and the distinctive Abarth logo can arise from the outset never any doubt in your taste and your driving skills ambitions. You were always just Abarth in the head? ON your head Abarth fits much better!

So Dave, let us know how much is it then? It's not on the UK website.

would love to see a full face version, it could be done using plain white and some red transfers for now , or customised to match the colour scheme of the car,  good on track days etc )

Very nice. Would be cool for trackdays! I'd prefer a full-face version for karting use too. Not that I'm in the market for another helmet...

Allan from Denmark on Abarthforum.de responded.

He purchased it from Damisch Abarth in Austria. Well known enthusiast Abarth dealer. 162euro's including shipping!  Not too bad I suppose.

The power of the internet!

Well, I'm pleasantly surprised. I was expecting it to cost £250 - £300! I know, because an Kappa Abarth hooded coat (4CENTO 402 ABARTH) cost 550 Euros  :o. But Gigastore is offering it at 30% discount to 385 Euros  :thumb:.

Now I want a helmet!
