-- Original opening post --

Just seen the SMMT vehicle registration data for December and Abarth show as a separate manufacturer with 5 registrations for the month, 0% market share so we are a very exclusive group.

Does anyone know the month by month figures since sale began?

Interested to see January's figures, hope it's more than the 2 here in South Yorkshire!

Not 100% accurate I know, but back in December my dealer (the only official one) in Holland said he had sold about 50 A500s and 30 GPAs.  He said Fiat NL were aiming to move about 1-200 A500s per annum.

Considering in Holland that a manufacturer needs to sell about 6000 units before you begin to see that model every day, I think its fair to say we will remain in a pretty exclusive club.

Will the fact I have paid my deposit and signed the paperwork in January count as the sale in January, or will it be when I pick it up in March?

Ah cool. Thanks for that. I don't imagine anyone will have bought/registered an Abarth 500 in January so the sales do seem high compared to previous months. Still less sales than an Aston Martin though!!!

I placed my order in Jan too, i could have had a jan registration if there was one of my spec on the port. Mine is now going to be a March/April registration. It makes sence to me that people would buy in jan, you can organise your money after christmas and go and buy. Thats my opinion anyway.
