Do you have access to the number of A500's supplied in the UK in each colour? If i've missed it I apologise and will happily be led by the ear to the right place! But if I haven't missed it I'd really like to know. Numbers to date would be fine, no need for monthly breakdowns! Many thanks
Would also like to know this

Rich / Trooper if you look at the bottom of page 7 of this thread. Anyway here it is again. This is a thread allways worth a look as the information i have is very difficult to obtain! And i also include data on Europe as well from time to time the UK is a prime Abarth market for FGA Italy is No.1 but UK and Germany vi for 2nd place. Well statoholics here it is the 2009 final figures
RED is the colour in terms of December registrations. AGP's had 62.5% in Red and for A500 it was the equal highest month with 18 in Red and the highest month in % of month registrations.
So here it is
Dec YTD A500 89 1134 AGP 24 247
Total 113 1381
Come del gioco di coloure
I will now reveal all as a YE bonus full year detail of Registarations
A500 % AGP % White 693 61.11 96 38.87 Black 191 16.84 63 25.51 Grey 150 13.23 NA Red 100 8.82 88 35.63
Total 1,134 247

I find these stats very interesting and sometimes surprising, such as the A500 to GPA ratio! Keep 'em coming and thanks for posting

Well statoholics here is some extra info.
The GPA is the most exclusive car in the B sector with the YTD of 5 there is one quirk in the sector figures and that is the 3 old Ford Ka's that have been registered in Jan and Feb obviouisly found at the back of a Ford franchise's yard. The new Ka produced in FGA's Tychy plant on the 500 platform is in the A sector. The Subaru Justy is the next lowest in the B sector but that is in double figures.
In fact in the B sector as you will all know the Alfa Mito is a Grande Punto with a different body (and no 5 door option) the difference in registrations YTD is just 40 units. I have mentioned the 'Mito effect' previously and the issues that will result in so watch out.
Back to a subject that is very sad to see and that is the continued decline of SAAB who prior to GM used to produce such good cars the 95/96 900 the fantastic little Quantum racing car and the Sonetts. YTD 2009 2010 9-3 792 160 9-5 99 52 It is hard to see quite what Spyker are going to do!!!!!

Well statoholics although tomorrow (Thursday 8th) the final figures can be confirmed for March registrations it is though fairly unlikely that any changes will take place as AFRL (Automated First Registration & Licensing) tends to ensure completeness by this stage.
March 2010 has seen the highest numbers of Abarth's ever registered seeing a 25.88% increase over the previous highest month (March 09)
Well RED is THE colour for the A500 the number of Red A500's registered in March 2010 is more than double that achieved in each of the best ever months for red A500's being registered Oct 09 & Dec 09.
However RED for the AGP for 2010 has fallen from #1 to #3 and the lack of Black AGP's has been quelled with 36.6% of March AGP registrations being Black so the exclusivity factor has reduced slightly.
Interestingly despite March being the month with the highest monthly registrations for the quarter Jan-Mar it is 2 units down on Oct-Dec but Feb was as a pre reg month low if you compare the 33 units to the previous pre reg month Aug with 59.

Ohhps after all that i didn't put any numbers in!!! That is what you want isn't it? !!!?? Model January 2010 February 2010 March 2010 YTD AGP 2 3 30 35 A500 66 30 257 353 Total 68 33 287 388 I made a slight mistake in my earlier post regarding Oct-Dec qtr to Jan-Mar qtr the difference of 2 refered to A500's only the difference on AGP's was 18 so 20 units less Jan-Mar compared to Oct-Dec. Sorry about that.

WOW Thanks! The popularity of the A500 still amazes me, it outsells the AGP by almost 10 to 1! Crazy! EDIT: Do you have the total figures sold for both models since they were released?

Well lloyd does do a summary on page 1 of this thread but seeing as it is you DF i will do the maths for you and detail how its done.
Model AGP A500 Total by yr Year
2008 100 0 100 (source lloyd excellent summary pg1) 2009 247 1,134 1,381 (source my posts bottom pg7 and rptd top pg9) 2010 end Q1 35 353 388 (source my post yesterday)
TOTAL 382 1,487 1,869 20.44% 79.56% % of Total Abarth registrations to end Q3 2010
Well 2010 does show only 9.02% of total Abarth registrations being AGP's (compared to the overall 20.44% over the total since the brand returned) but i have already mentioned that there is a model change so figures will be on the low side. If you were looking for an AGP would you buy one now? or would you wait for the MultiAir model with the challenging looks (i was going to say styling but felt that i may prove to be unpopular by using that word!!!).
The other major reason for the big numbers in March aside from the new plates is the end of scrappage so i can not see these high numbers appearing for some time again. It will be interesting to see just what the numbers will be like on the 500C but i cant see that you will need more than the fingers on your hands to count the registrations for these.

Well statoholics and it was good to meet lloyd yesterday although i didn't realise it at the time but jogged my mind into putting some extra statholic info up.
The exclusivity of the AGP is maintainedit remains the lowest cummulative registered units in the B segmentand now only 2 remain in that category with registrations under 100. The Ford quirk i refered to last month has gone as Ford obviously was paying big registration bonuses for Q1 to its dealers with 601 of the old model Ka being 10 plated. I bet a fair few of these end up as courtesy cars for bodyshops and rental cars. It is still the Subaru Justy that is closest to The GPA in lowest registrations in the B sector.
The GP Mito split has moved the way of the GP for March.

One for the statoholics - there were 20 A500s registered on the island of Jersey in 2009 which on a per capita basis would equate to over 12,000 in the UK!
