Just been reading my brothers Top Gear magazine, huge full page advert in there for Abarth with an EVO in the wind tunnel, the motto they used was "Not the sound of silence" very Italian!

It has every Abarth dealer (including the new one ) listed with the phone numbers. I think it's great, i just didn't expect Abarth to advertise in such a mag, is it because there's a road test/review on the EVO a few pages before? Must had cost a fortune surely, not what you'd expect from a fairly small brand with a limited market. Any thoughts? Any more ads spotted?

It's also in Auto Italia following an article on APE and A500C. Get me I used to read Heat magazine now I've been well and truly sucked into Abarthworld.

In the TG APE review it mentioned how many A500's were sold, and how many AGP's were sold in comparison. Would i be correct in saying that Fiat/Abarth are trying to push the sales of the APE now due to it's unpopularity against the A500?

No.  It's a new model.  Of course they're going to advertise it.

So where are the adverts for the A500 and A500C then?  ???

The A500 is now 2 years old so its no longer new.
There are adverts for the A500C but advertisments usually only advertise one car at a time as to not confuse the less bright people.
Its the turn of the Evo at the moment.

But do you think they are pushing it because of the poor sale figures from last year?

The UK market has sold every G.P. that was ever made for it.
The A500 was always the main event and the G.P. was the build up to it.
Evo is a the next step forward for Abarth in the 'B' segment so why wouldn't they shout about it.
