Arrrgh! Dent - Phew Fixed!
« on: January 10, 2011, 04:46:51 PM »
My car is 6 months old and after washing it at the weekend i was mortified to find a couple of dents in the bonnet :-\  Dents are my pet hate!

They were only small, but enough to catch the light. Today had the Midlands Dentwizard come out and we are back to 'as new' :thumb:

This got me thinking is the bonnet on a 500 is very easy to dent?

One thing to note - Paul the Dentwizard did say that its very hard to get a ding out of the rear quarters on a 500 as its double skinned...

I have a stone chip on the bonnet, and at an angle in the light, you can see it has dented slightly.

I'm not entirely sure, but I do know they are easily chipped by stones :'( But what car isn't.

I have a similar dent but it's in one of my doors where someone wasn't careful with their door.

Here's hoping that my reversing in to a grey wheelie bin in the dark last night hasn't resulted in a dent then (was too dark to tell if there was any scratches/etc).

I have a horrific gash in the plastic bumper on the front of my car. Drove forwards from parked into a hydrent sign which i couldn't see becuase it was too low down. That made me cry.

Someone put a small dent in my drivers door just before Christmas.

Managed to find a local guy who came out and fixed it and you would never know it had been there, it was fascinating watching him remove it.

Also last week someone scuffed my rear bumper but luckily a local bodyshop managed to polish it out.

Not having much luck are you.
i scuffed an alloy and bounced a bird off my bonet at 70 in the first two weeks of having the car and since then its been bump free apart from someone too lazy to walk the trolley into the trolley bay but pushing it from the other side of the road into it was sitting in the car at the time and funily enough got the whole front bumper sprayed at their expence after.
