I try to do mine every weekend, ultra paranoid about my monza exhaust! Cleaning the wheels of tar and brake dust takes longer than washing the rest of the car! In the summer I'm going to clay them. Suprised at the amount of brake dust it makes to be honest! I don't even use the brakes very hard. At least it's got warmer here, few weeks ago the water was freezing on the roof straight from the hose,my hands were numb!

It's pointless clean car in winter just take it to a jet wash once or twice a week give it a good blasting over.

Could do with that at the end of winter. Can you get right under the car?

Is it one of these touchless car washes? They are wicked  :thumb:

I would never take any car through a car wash you find at a petrol station, the damage they do and the crap they use is crazy  >:(

It's the truck wheelwash at work. At full speed it uses 1600 litres a minute. There's four vertical jets in each corner and then 36 jets in the grids.

It's not somewhere to stand in the middle when it gets activated, it quite literally knocks you off your feet.

Just finished taking all four wheels off Luigi, giving them a go over with Wonder Wheels and looking spanking new again!  :)

On a truck it'll only clean the wheels and undersides of it but it'll clean a full car, although it wasn't designed for cars to go through. One cycle last 30 seconds and that's more than enough time to clean the dirt off any vehicle.
