If I'm wrong then we all drive Fiats!  :o

I think it is the address at which the company is registered that defines the nationality. After all, why else do we have to listen to the Austrian national anthem when Red Bull win?!

Doesn't change the fact French cars just don't do it for me.  :-*

I've never disagreed its French. I just dislike the f*cking thing!! Hence it ain't on my list.  ;D

1, Château Saint Jean Dorlisheim
67120 Molsheim[1]
France

I rest my case.

I must say I wonder if the 4C will even make it to market - Alfa seems to have canned most things for the next couple of years.

Well the investors are being woohed in New York currently so if you make reference to page 16 of the document detailed here

http://www.fiatspa.com/en-US/media_center/FiatDocuments/2011/October/New_Alfa_Romeo_engine_to_be_produced_in_Italia.pdf

and anyone interested in Maserati might be interested in page 23 'Kubang' oh no sorry i'm getting confused its Whoosh Bang! that Grajo uses.

And obviously given this press release from the begining of Oct
http://www.fiatspa.com/it-IT/investor_relations/investors/presentazioni/FiatDocuments/2011/Investor_meetings_NewYork_Nov_29_30_2011.pdf

We wouldn't be producing an engine not to use it and if you read carefully you will see that it is compliant to US regs so what it says on pg 16 of the doc being presented today and tomorrow in the US would back this up. By the way this doc has changed from the one presented in London at the end of Sept to investors.

Certainly there has as been known for a long time a big delay in a 159 replacement and that will certainly be more US market appealing than the outgoing model 2013 at the earliest for that.
