Hmmm i loved my A500 a lot but the main reason i changed was more room inside the car plus i love the Multiair Engine they shout squeeze that in the A500 that would be a hoot.Love em both I am going to try and persuade the Mrs to get an A500 in the future  :thumb:

This is the first time ive seen this thread. and where is magic mole when you need him??? i'll have to do my best. the a500 is really just a tarted up ford ka as for the agp looking ordinary there really isnt many external differences between a500 and f500. agp has a little space in it a500 space was a after thought. driving position in the a500 is terrible and as for the a500 being fun its a little more funny to watch them on track days wobbling about and going upside down (theres a pic on here of a upside down assetto corsa). 6 gears in the agp as well.

Bigger spoiler, larger rear and front bumpers, side skirts.... huge difference if you ask me

And as for tarted up ka? just because it uses the floor pan  ::)

Even as a fellow agp owner I think stevey's 500 thoughts are somewhat harsh!

I prefer the quirky new look of the 500
The A500 improves on that.
I have yet to drive a APE or AGP
they are nice but not got the 500 apeall.
thats my worthy opinion.
and i have no dogs or kids and a van to put big stuff in.

When they drive towards you its only really the tiny little vents that seperate the two from behind yeah there is a twin exhaust. the agp looks a hell of alot different from every angle. credit where its due the seats in the 500 are nicer but again not a fan of the body coloured panel in the dash some like it. its been called "retro" a few times on here. only ever had a little shot in one performance wise seemed the same as the agp maybe a little more body roll in the 500. all just my personal oppinion of the 500 and 100% not my cup of tea.

Where indeed?  Or CodeAndRoad, or AnonAbarth?

I don't mean ordinary as compared to the Fiat, I just mean that like almost every new car, the AGP had any real styling wind-tunneled out of it and looks the same as all the rest.

As MDQ puts it, the 500 is "quirky" without being too cutesy.  Especially in grey, with black stripes. ;)  The interior too has a bit more identity in the 500, although I agree that if the steering wheel were a bit closer I'd definitely push the seat back more.

Like it or not, the old Ka was distinctive (stylish?), but the new look has started the journey towards generic small motor.  Great platform though.  :P
grigio campovolo - kit estetico nero - pelle nera - tetto in vetro fisso - cerchi in lega 16" - koni FSD - molle SS - G-Tech S - distinctly minty
