just a thought, if you sand the damage down to the metal then its going to need lacquer on it. just polish and wax won't be enough to stop the metal oxidizing when the winter salt gets at it :thumb:

The blank end of a touchup kit should do nicely.  All Fiat parts dealers should sell you the official touch up kits.

nail varnish is good, even if you are having it repaired professionally at some point this will stop the damage getting worse :thumb:
