Good Stuff for Car Tarting.
« on: November 23, 2011, 09:10:50 AM »
We all like to spend a good twelve hours making the pride and joy look sparkly and smelling sweeter than our Wives do, but what are the best products to use? In recent months I've moved away from a plastic sponge and a bit of Fairy to quickly do the job and can heartily recommend some better products. So I'll get the ball rolling with two useful items. Please share your own wisdoms. (With pics)

First for the exterior plastic trim. Chemical Guys. New Look Trim Gel. £13 This stuff makes your outside black bits black and shiny after all the sunlight begins to fade it. It stays black for ages and repels water and sunlight.

Second is a brilliant wheel brush. Valet Pro. Non-Scratch Soft Brush. £9 Its big & chunky and gets cack out of the spoke corners and edges much better than all of my other wheel brushes. It's also brilliant to clean the rubber door and window strips as well as the trim over the wipers.

The trim gel is fantastic stuff. I use it whenever I clean my car properly.
